Since debuting the KumaQ in Queensland in June this year, Dream Drive has been on an exhilarating journey across three major caravan and camping expos. We’ve had the opportunity to showcase our unique 4WD campervan to thousands of Australians, gaining valuable insights, and hearing incredible feedback along the way. Here’s a look back at the excitement from the Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4x4 Expo, the Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo, and our most recent event, the Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan and Camping Sale.
Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4x4 Expo
Our journey continued with the Cleveland Expo in August, where we introduced the KumaQ to many Queenslanders for the first time. From the start, visitors were captivated by its robust 4x4 capabilities and premium interior design, setting it apart from traditional campers. This expo was invaluable for connecting with local enthusiasts and provided a great starting point for Dream Drive in Australia.
Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo
In September, we continued our tour at the Sunshine Coast Expo. With the backdrop of Queensland’s breathtaking landscapes, the show drew adventurers looking for campers that can handle rugged terrain while providing comfort and style. Attendees loved the quality of the materials and the camper’s versatility, particularly the 4x4 option – a feature that surprised many Australians who hadn’t seen a vehicle like ours on the market. Comments like, “The finish and materials used in this camper really stand out,” reassured us that our focus on craftsmanship is resonating here.
Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan and Camping Sale
Most recently, we wrapped up an incredible weekend at the Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan and Camping Sale, the highlight of our year so far! With each event, we’ve seen enthusiasm build, and Brisbane was no exception. Attendees raved, calling the Kuma Q “the best camper at the show.” Many were thrilled to discover that our campervan’s 4WD capabilities would allow them to explore parts of Australia they hadn’t previously considered reachable. It was rewarding to see Dream Drive’s values of quality and functionality come to life in a way that resonated deeply with our new community here.
Reflecting on the Last Five Months
Each of these events has been more than just an opportunity to introduce our campervan – it’s been a chance to learn and grow alongside the Australian market. Based on feedback from attendees, our product team is exploring new features, like a PopTop option, which could soon be a part of the Dream Drive lineup.
In these few short months, we’re thrilled to report that we’ve sold a number of Kuma Q units, and demand continues to rise.
